9) Transcripts from your School

10) Recommendation letter from anyone you have worked with.

For you to register in Jamaica you will only pass through evaluation process

No IELTS to register and practice in Jamaica

And if you work in Jamaica as a Nurse for at least a year you will rely on the evidence to register in the UK and work without IELTS just for you to write your CBT and OSCE.

The Registration involves two processing:

1)Filing of Documents to the Board for evaluation

2)Then applying for your TRN

The TRN is like U.S Social security number which you will also need at the final stage of your Registration before you can be issued a License to practice and a decision letter

For you to join the registration body of Jamaica Nursing council here is the document checklist :

1)Certified copy of your Nursing license

However,the board can request for any other additional documents during evaluation stage if they are not fully convinced about the documents you have submitted to them.

If you wish to move to U.S after working in Jamaica as a Nurse is as easy as anything because you won’t face any agency stress of flying you to Philippine for Nclex like most Nigerians here home have been doing and after passing Nclex they will wait for 24-36months before they can migrate to U.S but you in Jamaica you will migrate in 6-12months after writing your NCLEX exam here in Jamaica because there is a centre for NCLEX in Jamaica.

If you practice as a Nurse a year in Jamaica, u don’t NEED IELTS to become a UKRN or USRN.

Yea, your family (Spouse) and kids below the 18 years of age can join you under the dependant visa when your own visa is out, but we advise you get to Jamaica first get a Job and then your family can join you if you want.
